Organized for Saturday, September 16, 2023. It is a <strong>5-kilometer route among the active furnaces and picturesque streets of the island<\/strong>. Starting at 7:30 pm, when the sun sets and night falls, the &#8220;<strong>Bocca del Fuoco<\/strong>&#8221; comes to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The lights of the furnaces<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When the sun sets and the city lights go up, <strong>Murano <\/strong>becomes an <strong>even more magical place<\/strong>. The quiet streets are filled with a romantic and <strong>mysterious atmosphere,<\/strong> creating a unique aura that envelops this <strong>glassmaking community<\/strong>. One of the first things one notices during a nighttime visit to Murano are the illuminated furnaces. The <strong>glass windows<\/strong> of the furnaces give off a warm glow, allowing glimpses of the glassmakers intent on working the glass with skill. It is a unique opportunity to witness this ancient craft in action and <strong>to appreciate the skill and dedication of the artisans<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An event for seniors and children&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This event is suitable for <strong>both children and seniors<\/strong>. It is a <strong>non-competitive run\/walk open to anyone who wants to live this unique experience<\/strong>. The route will wind its way through the <em>calle<\/em> and the many bridges of Murano and will be fully <strong>illuminated by candles<\/strong>, placed to signal and show the way ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Furnaces open for the occasion&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Seeing the furnaces active at night is a <strong>unique opportunity<\/strong>. Discover and appreciate the<strong> art of Murano glassmaking<\/strong> in an atmosphere complemented by the background noise of <strong>working irons and the rumbling of glowing furnaces<\/strong>. A route lit by hundreds of candles, <strong>for children and the elderly<\/strong>, on one of <strong>Venice&#8217;s most characteristic islands<\/strong>, through <strong>nine furnaces open for the occasion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The planned offer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The offer of the &#8220;<strong>Bocca del Fuoco<\/strong>&#8221; event includes, for those registered, a Murano Glass <em>osella<\/em>, the appropriate <strong>technical jersey<\/strong> to participate and an invitation to the <strong>final party<\/strong>. The party will take place at the end of the walk. To allow everyone to enjoy this experience to the fullest, there is a <strong>limited number of registrations<\/strong>. Only <strong>400 people<\/strong> can participate in this event. The meeting point for the &#8220;<strong>Bocca del Fuoco<\/strong>&#8221; is at <strong>Campo San Donato<\/strong> starting at<strong> 4 p.m<\/strong>. to pick up the race packet.
